the past few weeks have been very stable on the political front. all of the sudden news about iraq and palestine and korea and iran seems to have disappeared. we have new issues like burma protest and fighting in the Srilanka ,and trust me sri lanka never bothers the world community despite many deaths we witness there due to the civil war(i'll call it a civil war). every day we see a small portion in newspaper or news channels about deaths of LTTE or the civilian or the army and these small portions go largely unnoticed. why is it so???
the reason might be...
srilanka is not at all in a strategic location unlike israel,palestine,korea. so largely the colonial countries don't bother a lot about it.
secondly there is not much resource like oil,gold mines,etc which can draw attention of the developed countries and thus making it important.
and as we see that every resourceful country(strategically or oil based) has a backing of powerful nation. we can have the example of china and north korea,china and burma,america and israel,iran and russia etc.
the resourse surely became a curse for the people of iraq and afghanistan but little of that was due to the stubbornness of the representatives of these country or due to the instability from inside and most of that was due to the greed of countries like america and russia who cared more about oil than blood.
death in srilanka is due to the attention it cannot draw to the world and deaths in iraq is due to the attention it has drawn to the world(big bad greedy world).
the greedy are the killers for they see what they want to,they kill at their will, they help at their will.
to stop this open willfull killing we had UN. but we all see how effective it is. it is a puppet in the hand of the same group of killers. even a gagged man or a caged bird is more free than the UN.
it is helpful in feeding hungry people though.....

temptation and planning
what a nice thing it would be if we all gave into our temptations but with some essential planning.
temptations as in sexual, monetary,career, and planning as in how to reach towards them.
i'll start with career.
I am tempted to do something new,learn new things,and then would love to stumble through a great idea like google,or microsoft or plainly i'll be a less colorful free source freak.people calling me crazy but yet admiring me somewhere in their unsatisfied minds. but the planning in this case need to be that i go for a field where i am proficient and innovative and comfortable(s/w certainly not being one of them,i hate to say that). but whatever i do i must have the vision that where i can excel and apply my creativity.
I think i can do best in anything that has to deal with human and other life forms. i love dealing with people,trying to study them and then predicting a behaviour and then getting happy when they perform as per my speculation(nope, i am not thinking of turning them into mindless and obedient robots).i can also do better in anything related to fish, like breeding the expensive fish and earning good money (more than 2.7 per annum,my salary at accenture), i can breed horses which women find horny... :), i can be a tourist guide at the pyramids,or in turkey or in greece. i can be a farm owner in texas. or plainly a documentary maker for all those animal based channels(my mother would take me to a psychiatrist if she comes to know about this). but i wish if i can fulfil these wild dreams in near future. i'd love to....
And yes, one more thing.I am plannning to join The U.N. and i'll be better than Shashi Tharoor in the coming years(for god's sake).
At the end of this random blog it is quite evident that i am tempted towards things that has nothing to do with me now. am i???
it could be because of my inabitily to explore these ideas in real and thus not knowing that these ideas can be real pain in the A#$ in actuality.
my planning currently is about something which i don't like(s/w). and my temptation is about things which i cannot do in near future. torn between my ideas and deeds. i've alwasy been......
